It has been said in many different ways and by many different people, “You become what you read.” Essentially, “What we fill our minds with will shape who we are and where we go.” This idea is not new but has been around for thousands of years; this is why I am so passionate about reading.

Every summer, I love to find a good biography and get lost in it for hours. There is something about people’s lives that I find fascinating. As a Christian, I often find encouragement in the lives of saints who have gone before us, and it helps me run the race set before me.
Over the next few weeks, I will recommend some of my top books in various genres: Finances, Leadership, Biography, and Christian Living. I hope you can find time to dive into a book or two this summer, enjoy some rest and find these books encouraging, challenging, or even life-changing.
These are only a few of my favourites, and I found it hard not to recommend more. Feel free to reach out for more or comment to suggest a few of your favourite books.
