He Goes Before Us, He is Leading Us, and We are Building with Him
Can you believe that Summer is almost over and we are very quickly creeping up on the first days of Fall? Our Summer flew by; it was full of ministry, wonderful times with family and friends, and some much needed rest!
Back in May, Randall had the privilege of teaching at YWAM Sheep River in both the Harvest Discipleship Training School, where he taught on the Holy Spirit, and the School of Biblical Studies, where he taught the book of Matthew. It was such a joy to get to partner with the team at the YWAM base, seeing students get ahold of Biblical truths and encountering God! Later in the Summer, Randall taught Hearing God’s Voice in the Mountain Venture Discipleship Training School (also with YWAM Sheep River), spending a week in the mountains camping with the staff and students. We also had the privilege of celebrating YWAM Sheep River’s 40th Anniversary as a family, and, along with other friends, Randall had the joy of leading worship for the event!

As a family, we had fun cheering on Randall as he ran a half-marathon in the Calgary Marathon, Olivia and Gwen danced in the year-end recital with our local Christian dance studio, and we spent time with friends and family, including a week in Manitoba, where we were able to meet our niece at one-month old! The girls got to participate in a couple day camps over the summer, and we had the joy of spending ten days in Invermere, British Columbia to rest.
Randall has continued to serve many churches through worship and preaching, as well as partner with different denominations for camps and retreats. At the end of May, we had the joy of spending the weekend with our friend’s, Chad and Serena Ponto in Stettler, Alberta. We had a wonderful time connecting in prayer and fellowship, and they spoiled us with taking us to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller! We then got to serve their church through Randall preaching and through prayer and prophetic ministry as a couple.

We spent a week at Camp Harmattan for the Nazarene Family Camp in August, where Randall was leading worship. During this time, we saw God move in amazing and unique ways! This was the same camp that Randall spoke at last Summer. One day, a young boy (around 13 years old) came and found Randall, telling him that he had heard him speak the year prior. He shared with Randall how impacted he was by what he shared, and went home and purchased his book, “Worship: A Life Devoted,” and has since read it twice, and recently started reading it for the third time! He then asked Randall to sign the book, which was an honour, but what was even more honouring, was how impacted this young boy was by the message conveyed in the pages of the book. Following one of the evening sessions, a young gentleman approached Randall in tears, telling him that he had never experienced worship like he did that evening. Randall was able to point him to the joy we have in experiencing the Holy Spirit! It’s such a joy to get to hear and see how God is using the work that He has called us to!
Another highlight for us was Becky being asked to preach at a church here in Calgary! It was such a joy to encourage the body of South Gate Alliance in living a lifestyle of faith!

We are now stepping into our Fall schedule, with the girls starting school and extracurricular activities, and exciting ministry opportunities, both new and old. Randall has begun work on a new writing project, and we are looking forward to ministry opportunities as a couple and family! As the Lord continues to work in and through each one of us, we know and trust that He is going before us and leading us, and we have the privilege of walking and building with Him.
We are so grateful for the life and ministry God has called us too! Please pray for us - that God would continue opening the doors that He wants us to walk through, that He would strengthen us for the work set before us, that He would stop any plans of the enemy, and that God would provide our every need for both life and ministry.

Would you consider partnering with us? We are in need of financial partners in order to continue doing the work that God has set before us; both for monthly needs and for ministry opportunities on the horizon. We know that as God leads, He will provide. If you feel led to be a part of our ministry in this way, you can do so by clicking here.
We truly desire to see every believer awakened to the voice of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to transform lives through the Great Commission! Stay tuned in the weeks to come for some more details about some exciting things coming in the near future!
